In Melbourne right now on a wee little sales trip, and actually had a bit of time to do some impulse CD shopping. Let me start off by saying that i'm finding it really hard to keep up with all the new music.. I feel like a disgruntled old man hanging on to music I liked and listened too.. You know, the usual shit like "music isn't the same as it was 5 years ago" etc. But let me declare! Success! picked up 3 really good CDs.. one of which was the new Animal Collective album.
I've actually liked Animal Collective for a while now, and the new album, Merriweather Post Pavilion is pretty great. It's slightly self indulgent, a bit pretentious, but amazing nonetheless. Check ittttt...

it's a sad sad day....
With great sadness, i have to inform you that my ipod has been wiped clean for some unknown reason. That's 60gb of music, 20gb of crap after using it has a hard drive. Condolences are welcome.
